I just read about this and it got me thinking about what Covid has done to International Universities, especially the ones that depend solely on international students to generate revenue. University of Canberra and the Australian National University together are set to fly in 350 students in July, more Universities in UK and Europe are considering same move. This is partly due to current flight and travel restrictions, and considering that these international students can't travel on commercial flights presently.
Will the students bear the cost or the Universities will cover it fully or partially? I think this will depend on the specific University and arrangements made.
It does however sound highly incentivising😃
Well, I think that the cost will be on the students and the universities may only assist by cutting a good deal with the airlines to make the tickets affordable for the students.
