On Monday, the 13th of July, the UK Government formally launched the graduate route with effect from summer 2021. If you complete a degree, you can stay for 2years (3 years for PhDs) and work at any skill level, then switch into work routes if you find a graduate job.
In addition, there will be no limit on the number of international students who can come to the UK to study, and Govt will seek to increase the number of international students in higher education as set out in the International
Education Strategy published in March 2019.
Ok, this is good, but how about international students who are graduating January 2021 but have valid visa till may 2021? I assume they are not eligible. Couldn’t they have implemented this policy earlier?
