Under the rule, international students whose universities have switched to online-only courses must leave the U.S. The lawsuit, filed Wednesday, calls for a temporary restraining order to stop the ICE policy. "ICE's action proceeded without any indication of having considered the health of students, faculty, university staff, or communities. Or the absence of other options for universities to provide their curricula to many of their international students," the lawsuits
reads.
This is surely a welcome development, it will make sense if more universities join and possibly make it a class action, considering how this decision is going to impact affected African students.
