I think you should also consider the quality of the program at both the US & Canada. The quality of the program will also affect what opportunities there are after study. Take aerospace for instance, the US is known to be an authority in it and Canada doesn't come close, so if you're looking to study anything aerospace related, I'd surely advise you to goto the US with the booming industry giants like Boeing and Lockheed. So consider the program you're going to study and how the industry fairs in both countries too.
