Brief
1. Charity Worker Visa
You can apply for a Tier 5 (Temporary Worker - Charity Worker) visa if:
you want to do unpaid voluntary work for a charity
you’re from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland
Sponsorship
You must have a certificate of sponsorship from a licensed employer before you can apply to come to the UK to work.
The work you do in the UK must relate to the work of your sponsor organisation.
2. Creative and Sporting Visa
You must apply for a Tier 5 (Temporary Worker - Creative and Sporting) visa if:
you’ve been offered work in the UK as a sports person or creative worker
you’re from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland
Sponsorship
You need to have a certificate of sponsorship from a licensed employer before you can apply to come to the UK to work.
The work you do in the UK must relate to the work of your sponsor organisation.
3. Government Authorised Exchange Visa
You can apply for a Tier 5 Temporary Worker - Government Authorised Exchange visa if you:
want to come to the UK for a short time for work experience or to do training, an Overseas Government Language Programme, research or a fellowship through an approved government authorised exchange scheme
have a sponsor
are from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland
Sponsorship
You need to have a certificate of sponsorship from a licensed sponsor before you can apply to come to the UK to work.
Your work, training or research in the UK must relate to the work of your sponsor organisation.
Your sponsor can be any of the following:
an organisation running an approved exchange scheme
a higher education institution (if you are a sponsored researcher, visiting academic or examiner)
a government department or agency
4. International Agreement Visa
You can apply for a Tier 5 (Temporary Worker - International Agreement) visa if:
you’re from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland
you’ll be contracted to do work covered by international law while in the UK, for example working for a foreign government or as a private servant in a diplomatic household
Sponsorship
You need to be sponsored (have a certificate of sponsorship from a licensed employer) before you can apply to come to the UK.
The work you do in the UK must relate to the work of your sponsor organisation.
5. Religious Worker Visa
You can apply for a Tier 5 (Temporary Worker - Religious Worker) visa if:
you want to do religious work, such as preaching or working in a religious order
you’re from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland
Sponsorship
You must have a certificate of sponsorship from a licensed sponsor before you can apply to come to the UK to work.
The work you do in the UK must relate to your sponsor organisation’s work.
6. Seasonal Worker Visa
You can apply for a Tier 5 Seasonal Worker visa if you want to come to the UK for up to 6 months to do farm work. You’ll need to:
have a sponsor
be from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland
7. Youth Mobility Scheme
You can apply for a Tier 5 (Youth Mobility Scheme) visa if you:
want to live and work in the UK for up to 2 years
are aged 18 to 30
have £1,890 in savings
have certain types of British Nationality or are from certain countries

Requirements
Tier 5 applicants must provide documents that support their application, among which are;
Current passport and/or other travel documents
Proof that they can meet the maintenance funds requirements for their visa, such as bank statements
A clear tuberculosis (TB) test result letter, if the applicant is from one of the countries on the Home Office's TB testing list
Certificate of sponsorship from a licensed employer in the UK.
